Education and Training Programs

The first step of the Central Florida Vocal Arts lifecycle, Education and Training introduces young artists to the arts. Through our institutes, intensives, scholarships, and other educational initiatives, we develop students’ talent and passion. Summer Institute

Aspiring performers of varying degrees of experience and genre preferences will grow and refine their skills in this week-long program!

Students can look forward to master classes, as well as individual training in the following areas:

* Private Vocal Lessons

* Ensemble Rehearsal

* Choreography-Dance Classes

* Audition Preparation

* Technical Production

* Resume / Career Guidance

The Summer Institute will culminate in a gala concert on Friday night and a full production on Saturday night, the latter incorporating musical numbers from several beloved musical theatre works. Students will audition for roles in these shows and concerts will be open to the public and allow our students the opportunity for both solo and group performance, demonstrating the growth achieved through our program.

Spring and Winter Vocal Intensives

Modeled after our successful Summer Institute program, our Spring and Winter Break Vocal Intensives will be opportunities for our students to grow as artists during the school year.

The three day programs will allow students to improve their skills in audition preparation, song interpretation, theatrical improvisation and overall performance.  Each Intensive will conclude with a public performance for parents and friends to attend.

Institute Scholarships

Students interested in attending the Summer Institute but unable to pay the full tuition, may give an audition to be awarded an Institute Scholarship, which will subsidize the program cost. Last year, CFL Vocal Arts awarded over $3000 in scholarships in 2016 to performers who demonstrated career potential in their auditions. Singers may also be asked to provide financial documents, establishing need. Contact Us to request an audition.
